As part of the Wood River Land
Trust's work to protect the Big Wood River, the Trout Friendly Lawn program
helps county residents take steps to conserve water and keep it clean.
Using native or drought tolerant plants in your yard is an important part of
being Trout Friendly. To find out more about how to certify your lawn as
TROUT FRIENDLY,
contact the Wood River Land Trust at 788-3947. Look for designations of
Native, Drought Tolerant, and Riparian
next to the "trout friendly" plantings
listed on the order form.
- Minimum order of any variety of bare root trees is one
bundle or 10 trees. One to ten gallon trees and shrubs will be sold
individually.
- These trees have been selected for their suitability
for this area. (zones 2, 3, and 4)
- The price includes shipping and handling. Sales tax
at .06 must be added.
- All trees are guaranteed to arrive in good condition.
No other guarantees can be made.
- The trees are ordered “Subject to Crop”. If
necessary, we reserve the right to substitute one size smaller or lone size
larger, as we receive them from the nursery, at no change of price.
- We have additional information and photos of the trees
at our office. Feel free come in to our office at 20484 Main St. Carey, or
call us at 481-1080 between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Tuesday and Wednesday or leave a message.
- It is essential to the survival of your trees that you
pick them up when scheduled, since we do not have cold storage facilities.
- All trees require irrigation until established. Do
NOT fertilize the first year. Keep weeds and rodents away from tree
